View Full Version : MLDonkey - is it as lame as I think?

I've been trying to use MLDonkey. When I first installed it, I was able to find a file and download it. But now, every file I find just sits there in the download screen "stalled". Nothing ever downloads. What's up with that? Is this program just lame? Are the other users just lame and not allowing files to be shared?
Any insight would be great.

yeah, i used to use mldonkey. it was graet when i first started using it. Then, i too, kept getting the "stalled" thing. I thought it was kind of weird since i was on a T1 line, and i was on my bosses new iMac FD. They need to do some major updating to it if you ask me.

As slow as a crippled snail on weed. But as previously mentioned quite reliable.
For a nicer UI, try mlmac:

Grab a magazine, a bucket o'popcorn and get ready for next month's "up-time" contest :p :p
