adding fonts without a font manager

does anyone have any advice on doing this? i know you can add fonts to the os 9 font folder, but when the admin reinstalled os x for me, he left out os 9 since i don't have any apps. i really don't want to install suitcase.

oh and i'm using postscript fonts

Have you tried placing them in your ~/Library/Fonts or /Library/Fonts directories?
