Is it listed in your Login Items in System Preferences or a folder named StartupItems?

Thanks for replying. Please show me how to navigate to these folders.
I found Library>startup items> ALADDIN (what is that? DO I need that item? Maybe thats it?
Also in System preferences> I don't see a thing for startups.

Use Spotlight to find folders named StartupItems. As for System Preferences, there should be a pane called Accounts, within which is the Login Items.

You can always drag them out, restart and see if anything goes bad. If you're having issues with apps that needed them, then you can put them back where you found them. :)
