Or is Leopard really glitchy and crap??
I mean I like the features, but am sick of slow wake up, apps crashing or freezing, lost features ( bluetooth SMS via address book ) - they've had a chance to do updates, and yet it's still really niggley......discuss!!!

It's your imagination or your setup, because my MBP at home runs perfectly fine. There is no mileage in a thread like this. It's much better to ask what can be done about the problems you're having with your machine.
Besides, we'll have an update within days which might fix a few things.

You should be able to take Address Book from OS 10.4 and use it in place of the new address book, or if you really want, use it in supplement to it.

I've had a few lock ups, perhaps only a slightly bit more than I had in Tiger. The only other problem I've had is very slow shut downs. Other than that, I've been really happy with Leopard. I wouldn't hesitate to upgrade if you haven't already.
