Hi there.

I was wondering if there are any sites were I can download games to my mac. Sort of like how iTunes work. Just purchase with a visa card/payPal etc and then download the game title.

Some of the big game titles are hard to come by for Mac in Norway and this day long shipping, extra costs extra waiting time etc etc Is just too much hassel for me when I just want to "get started".

As you can tell I´m not the kind of gamer that goes to store and buy games. I just want to break up once in a while when I have time left over and "give it a go".

So. Are there any sites out there that offer (for example) command and conquer ready for download? (Paying for it of course)

Thanks in advance :)

Macgamestore.com has a bunch of downloadable games, but not really any of the "big" ones. Aspyr was trying to do something along those lines last year, but it hasn't worked out.

Also try Deliver2Mac (http://www.deliver2mac.com/) and MacFun (http://www.macfun.com/mf). Other options include the software developer Ambrosia (http://www.ambrosiasw.com/games/). Like Eric said, Aspyr announced a long time ago plans to let us download games. This thread (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=215508) discusses it (and nothing is on offer to us so far, unfortunately).

Thanks for all the links :)

(I cant seem to find any place were EA support downloading full mac versions of there games.)

Deliver2Mac had some nice titles. I can only hope they will expand in the future.
