Office CD lost!?!?!?

Damn! I can't find my Office CD, and therefore can't clean install! Spent all afternoon backing up stuff only to find out now that I can't!!! Is there anything I can do?

If I copy the entire office directory will that work? I know it doesn't on windows, but I feel like it does for Macs. Is this true?

Yes copying entire directory will work fine.

Copying directory works just fine. I bought a new powerbook, it came with a trial version of office. I just deleted that trial directory and linked my old powerbook using firewire to my new powerbook. Then I dragged the old office directory over and voila! no messy settings/registry-keys/blahblah to deal with.
