Problem installing OS X Update help

Hi everyone,

I really need your help today. I have a Macbook 2.2 intel core two duo, only 3 months old. When I tried to update the new OS X, my macbook downloaded the software without a problem, however when it asks to restart the computer to install the update my comp restarts and begins to intall, after 2 min the install bar stops progressing and wont move for at all. Can anyone help me please

Be sure that the user that your mac is using to perform the install has administrator privileges.

if the user does not have administrator privilege, the update wont download anyway.

next thing, is your computer still stuck there? or you powered it off?
