OSX 10.4.11

On our web server we have two dev sites and two public sites, lets call them
PONY/fn_pub
PONY2/fn_pub
GALY2/fn_pub
GALY3/fn_pub

The problem in OSX is if I mount all these, they all show up as FN_PUB and theres no way to tell which finder window is which (on Windows the address bar will start with //PONY/). Is there anyway in OSX to show the Server name in addition to the share mount line?

I'm not aware of a way for the system to show the path, but holding command and clicking on the window title will show the path, or adding the path button to the window. That is how I usually tell the difference.

I don't know... Maybe naming all something else might help out. I know that naming a server that's located someplace it's a good idea to use a proper naming scheme.

It might be the networker/programmer in me, but it seems like a good idea.

Unfortunately I'm not a not a programmer and CONVINCING the people downstairs that we need to rename what are basically cloned drives will take an awful lot of time.

Not to mention they're on Windows and they simply map the drives.
