View Full Version : Lost Functionality in VMWare?

I plan on buying a Mac Mini in the next few months and want to run XP Pro with VMWare Fusion. Is there any lost functionality in doing this? Does it run the same as with bootcamp (less the speed of course)?

More specifically I have Becker PassMaster CDs for the CPA Exam and wanted to know if the would work in Fusion.

The only thing that comes to mind that won't work under VMware is 3D graphics. Currently, they do enable an "experimental mode" that can run 3D applications, but it's not a finished product. As far as everything else, everything and every program that runs under Windows should run fine when using VMware with the exception of heavy-duty multimedia 3D applications.
