Do I need a Font Management program?

I am currently on OS9.2 using ATM Deluxe.
I am buying the new MP 8core and was wondering what is best to use with OSX's for a font management...or do I not need one?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Personally, I use Linotype FontExplorer X (http://www.linotype.com/fontexplorerX) – it's a free download so there's no harm in giving it a whirl and seeing if it suits your needs. I've no complaints with it at all.

Well, if you don't install extra fonts, you definitely don't need one.

Is the included Font Book not good enough for installing and removing fonts?
