Reset global printing size?

:confused: From various applications, I keep printing blank letter-size pages to Xerox 7750 and 8850 printers from applications such as Word or Safari. Generating a PDF, I can see why. Documents are scaled to 65 x 42" landscape, making the upper left corner white.

How do globally reset default page size to 8.5" x 11"?

Note: Print & Fax Preferences "Default Paper Size in Page Setup" is "US Letter."

Solution: :o

OK, I opened Printer Setup Utility and chose "Reset Printing System". The entire printer list was emptied along with any printing preferences and queues. Afterwards, I added the printers and now when Letter size is selected, it actually is so (found tip on Apple Discussions forum).
