Anyone using Time Machine with 2 discs (home and work)?

I understand it's possible to use Time Machine with 2 different HDs (e.g. one at home, one at work) by manually selecting the appropriate disc for wherever you are at the time in the TM preferences. This would be useful for me as I'd like to have backups in 2 physical locations. I'm curious to know if anyone is doing that and, if so, how you're getting on? Any issues?

I would also like to know but the question seems to be unanswerable or merely stupid because no one answered for more than four months. At least someone could enlighten us which of the two mentioned alternatives it is.
