On several occasions, when I am playing a game or viewing a streaming video via boot camp, I will get a screen in several rainbowish colors, with the display distorted. Has anyone of you encountered such a glitch before? Do you know a fix for it?

I've had something similar when I boot to Windows. Sometimes. It's not consistent. I think I may have a picture of it. Here.
Because it isn't happening all the time I've been unable to figure it out.

It looks similar to that, just in rainbow color.

Have you tried different drivers? This could also be from overheating

I did install any different drivers, just the ones Apple provided.

I doubt it is for me since it happens mainly when I start the machine. Even when it's been turned off for "a while". It could be the driver since I am running Win XP x64 on boot camp.

I think I have the same thing happening as you, I had a thread going on this, with no real solutions, click on my name and go to the thread to see if my pictures are similar to your monitor...
I'd really appreciate a solution too

I was getting the exact same thing if I restarted from OSX into Windows via Boot Camp. My solution was to shut down OSX completely, then hit the power button again holding down the option key. Hasn't happened since. I suspect that the driver for the 1900XT under Windows isn't getting time to load properly.
