I'm so pissed. I just recieved my brand new dual 2 ghz g5, works for a day and a half, and now safari just craps out on me. the window opens, but it won 't load any pages. right now im posting in ie. it doesn't give me any error message or anything. the progress bar goes up to http://ww, but then it just stops. wtf. please please please someone help me.

As with any similar glitch, the first thing I'd try is deleting is plist files and caches. If you do a search in your home folder for "Safari", you should come up with one plist and a couple of cache folders; throw them all out and see if it works then.
If not, then there's something wrong with your install--perhaps try repairing permissions using Disk Utility or running an application like Panther Cache Cleaner.

calm down, probably not a panther problem but possibly a safari problem...hmmm. anyways reset safari as well as deleting preference files. if that doesnt do the trick i would advice extracting safari from your panther disc or restore disc.
