Problem with: Java update

today I've run the software update, I select Java...

it begins downloading, when it goes to installing window it gets stuck in the middle!
I left it for hours, nothing changed
restarted, shut it down, repaired permission, nothing helped
how can I fix it?

one more thing, in Disk Utility, Repair or Verify permission the loading bar gets stuck all the time, it doesn't move at all!! :eek:
though its gets the job done except its lot slower than my old iMac c2d tiger?! why is that

As for the Disk Utility slowness. . it's a common problem with Leopard. Hope they get it fixed soon!
