Isn't there a program that will let me play windows games without getting Windows OS. I want to play games but A. I don't want to spend money and B. I don't want anything to do with Microsoft.

Crossover Mac (http://www.codeweavers.com/products/cxmac/) will let you play some games.

Depends on the games. If they are new FPS type game that use the latest graphics, then play them in Windows, nothing is going to work better than Windows. If they are just solitair or casual games, then you could try Crossover or Parallels.

Crossover is your best bet, other than that buy the Mac version of the game if available (COD4 for example).
