Hi. I'm trying to install a windows XP professional SP2 partition using bootcamp. I've tried to mount the iso image so I can use disk utility and burn it to a disc, however whenever I try to mount the iso, it says its not recognized.. Any ideas??

I'll forgo any comments about legalities, etc.
To burn the .iso to disc using Disk Utility, you need to click on the "Burn" button with nothing selected in the left side bar. Then choose your .iso in the "Select Image to Burn" dialog box that comes up.

I tried that, but it says it could not recognize the file.

Assuming it's your own "backup" image or SP2 slipstream disk of your SP1 license.
You can burn ISO with Roxio Toast.

If Disk Utility can't burn it, Toast probably can't either.

well, Even trying to merely mount it by double clicking on the iso file, it says its not recognized. I guess the mac cant read the file, A number of friends of mine have used it on their windows machines fine, I guess the mac just cant read the iso.
