print selected text + images

i tried to look around but there has to be something better and easier way. how do i select say little bit of txt and images and print only that selected text and images? sorry total newb here.

Here's a post I came across from a past thread which might help you out:

There are add-ons like Print Selection Service (http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/24202&vid=157313) that add the option to your Services menu. Unfortunately, it doesn't work with all apps...only Cocoa apps can take advantage of it.

You could copy and paste them in Textdit and print them from there...

i know and i do that.. but theres gotta be better way. isnt this almost basic necessity?
