Spore Creature Tool Trial - Tiger & Mac Mini Version.

Hi,

Following the guide at TUAW (http://www.tuaw.com/2008/06/17/run-spore-creature-creator-on-unsupported-gma-950-macs/), I made a special version of the Spore Creature Tool Trial which now supports 10.4.11 and upwards, and the GMA 950 chipset. It's quite simple: It's an archive, containing a dmg, containing a folder, which goes in the applications folder.
WARNING: Does not work on MacBooks with a GMA950, does not run on PPC.

Get ready. Get set. Create!

I'm using a MacBook with OS 10.4.11, Intel Mac, 1 GB memory... I'm not very good at this whole thing.

But I downloaded this trial and loaded it, and this is the screen I got:

Everytime I would attempt to click somewhere, it would minimize it, and bring up my other applications. Occasionally, it would load the EA website.

If anyone knows a way around this, I'd be more than happy to try it.

Now I don't know why, but it just doesn't work. That's the extent of my expertise on this thing, sadly. But all indications point out that you wouldn't be able to run the full game anyway, on an MB, since it simply don't have what it takes. Sorry.

The minis play it, but I dont know how well.


Scratch that. They wouldn't really play it either. Man, I didn't know the minis were so horribly maintained.
