Playing Guild Wars on new Imac '08

I just bought a new imac 20 inch and i installed parallels so i could play Guild Wars, but its not working. i can activate it but the graphics are terrible and there are pieces of the image missing entirely. what do i need to do to fix this problem and play?
is it a system problem or will guild wars flat out not work with parallels?

You can't play "Guild Wars" or any other intensive game in either Parallels or Fusion. You need to use the Boot Camp Assistant to create a separate partition so you can install XP SP2 or Vista and run Windows natively.

Do some research at Apple Support regarding Boot Camp and be sure to read the Boot Camp Assistant installation instructions prior to partitioning your iMac to install Windows.

Just out of curiosity, why can't you play games like that through parallels? Too CPU intensive?
