Apple's Font Book is really pissing me off

Ever since I opened that dirty little squirrel (Font Book), my Address book won't work. And today, iChat is screwed, too: No one can 'see' me, and I can send out. What a bummer.

I've been trying to get answers on the Apple discussion boards. Specifically, I'm trying to figure two things:

1. Does anyone know the critical fonts that Apple needs in Panther so that I can make a new folder in Font Book and throw 'em in?

2. Or, will that make any real difference... Will I have to reinstall Panther just to get Address Book and iChat back?
