Making a VHS/DVD from camcorder footage?!

Hi all.......

I have some footage on a camcorder that I of course want on a VHS and/or DVD. I have a 15" Titanium PB with appropriate software.

Is this possible and if so, what are my options?

if you have iDVD and iMovie you are set. fire up iMovie, connect your camcorder. and go through iMovie's help to figure out what to do there. Then when you're done importing your video, launch idvd.

I made some movies on iMovie, that needed to be on VHS.

Captured on mini DV
Imported to iMovie
Exported back onto MiniDV, which was also connected to a VHS recorder.
Hit record on the VHS and Export on imovie and Vualla, Bob's your uncle.

here's a stumper.......what if when you plug the audio cable into the tv but you can't hear sound? and you've tried different tv's..........(I'm thinking it's the port on the camera) I'm going to have to get a different camera in order to get audio (along w/the video) onto my mac aren't I
