Mail Frustration

I am a college student tired of getting viagra and viocoden ads and i want to condense my 6 yahoo email accounts and my school account but mail is having trouble finding my servers. is there something special about the yahoo addresses?

do you have premium POP3 yahoo accounts? if you just have the free ones, you can't use mail. and fyi, this is Yahoo's fault, not Apples-- free web-based email does not generally lend itself to POP3 access. Hotmail has a hack plugin, but yahoo does not to my knowledge.

if you have the premium accounts, or if Yahoo is your ISP, then there is a problem. What incoming mail server did you specify?

guess i cant use the yahoo acounts. finally got my webmail account up and it logs in ok but doesnt find any email. now whats the dealio
