Random net drops in xp bootcamp (cant get net working again without a reboot)

as title says. my net will randomly drop in xp, usually while playing an online game. it is quite random, happens every few hours or so. itll say "limited or no connectivity" (nothing works, opening firefox will be no connection page etc), and then ill try press repair connection, or even disable or then reenable, but it hangs on "renewing ip address". if i reboot, net will come back and be working fine

any ideas ???
