I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't have a PS3 and 360 at home....you know he can't wait for LBP and Gears.

Miyamoto's probably jealous that the Wii can't get the kind of visuals that you'd find in the 360 and PS3.

The Mario FPS!!! And then Mario will appear as an unlockable costume in LBP. Because we all know how much sweeter LBP is.

Wow that's amazingly rude. I don't understand why he couldn't play it before it closed or opened?

Yeah, because he's rich and famous, trivial things like that would certainly make him jealous.

I think he was taking his frustration out on how silly his fellow Nintendoians were behaving. Even I would run to a PS3 controller, if I were just forced to play a saxophone on my Wiimote.

I can only hope everyone in the industry is willing to try out games of the competition.

Yeah, I can't wait for Mirror's Edge too. :)

They are all gamers (hopefully :p) so they likely have all the consoles, a gaming PC and regularly play the big hits on all platforms, why WOULDN'T they play the "competition" games.

The fact that Reggie played Mirror, makes up for the fact he endorsed the WiiZapper. Anyone want mine for a reasonable price of only $20.

Maybe he's wanting to go back to traditional gaming, since Nintendo is going into a direction that he never wanted it to. :p He probably misses the good ol' 8 button controllers with dual analog sticks + d-pad. :D

The gameplay (climbing/jumping from roof to roof) looks a bit like Crackdown, though the graphics are a lot more appealing.

I bet the developers were thrilled / "brickin' it" when Miyamoto-san turned up and asked to play their game.

Why isn't the subject just "Miyamoto Playing Killzone 2"?

Why does it have to be so inflammatory?

He's a GAME DESIGNER, he should be trying everything out to see if ther eis anything new, anything worth playing, anything that might be a good basis for a new idea.

He's out in the open at a press event, he's hardly trying not to be seen.

My thought about the subject, is that some are easily surprised when things occur outside of their expectations :)

When I was in business school they said the VP of Coke wakes up every morning and the first thing he'll read is the previous day report for Pepsi. If people don't expect him to be playing other games...they're idiots.

Because they're likely fanboys with armchair knowledge of the gaming industry who think something like this is a rare occasion :)

Miyamoto has said that he doesn't play many games now. I'm more surprised it's him instead of a designer for EAD.
