grrrrrrr  I cannot for the life of me find where this is hiding. Can someone tell me?

Is it somewhere blindingly obvious??

I believe it's in the control panels --> Software Update, but its been ages since I used OS 9.

Hmmm, I already looked there and couldn't find it :( I actually have OS 8.5 Japanese, but I don't think it should make too much of a difference.

I need to update Remote Desktop, but Software Update only comes up once in while after booting up.

Find the update on apple's site, they keep an archive of old updates all the way back to os 6. Go to any update and select "See older versions of this software" or something like that, and it will take you into the software update directory, where you can page around to find the updates you need.

I'm pretty sure it is, as I said, it comes up on boot-up every once in a while. I tried going through the recently used applications folder, but it's not in there either.

*sigh* looks like I'm going to have to trudge through Apple's website to find it

Do a search for it, File --> Find, then search for "update"
