How and When does it actually sync?

So i set up mobile me and it erased all my conatcts as it said it would and my computer is syncing to it. but my phone shows no calenders and contacts? How do i get it to sync? I don't get it, it doesn't do anything but delete the information on my phone. I turned it off.

Go into system preference, select MobileMe, select Sync, turn on automatic syncing and then click on the Sync Now button. With Auto sync on it syncs every 15 minutes, if you need/want it synced sooner than that just click on the box at the bottom that says show in menu bat and then anytime you want to sync you can just initiate it from the menu bar.
