dvd audio in itunes?

i just got a few dvds for christmas. one of them is by moby and has some songs on the dvd that aren't on the cd. I dont have a dvd rom drive on my computer, but in theory, if i did, would i be able to extract the audio from a dvd and save it as an AAC file just like in itunes?
