You need:

A copy of leopard.

A copy of Windows XP or Vista. (Full version, NOT an uprgade version).

Run the Boot Camp Assistant in leopard. Print out the handy instructions that they ask you to print out and follow them step by step (PLEASE do this. They're fairly idiot proof. I've seen too many people overwriting their Mac OS partitions).

When Windows has installed, reinsert the Leopard DVD and it will install all your drivers.

Voila.

I want to run both windows and mac on my computer. The reason is for running the netflix watch now functin doesn't work on mac. I just want to know what I need to buy and what I need to do to set it up properly. Thanks

you have essentially 2 options... boot camp or some sort of virtualization software (parallels or fusion) both require a valid copy of windows. bootcamp is free and is a part of osx. parallels and fusion varies in price. you'll have to google it and see what it's going for.

Another virtualization software is called VirtualBox. There are PC software that work with CrossOver which doesn't need windows, but isn't compatible with all softwares.

Native speed
- Bootcamp
Needs a copy of windows, XP SP2 or later

Virtual Machine (runs besides OSX)
- VMWare
- Parallels
- VirtualBox (free)
Some can use partition made with bootcamp, then you have the best of both.
Needs a copy of windows, XP SP2 or later

Doesn't need windows
- CrossOver
- Wine (if you are the tinkering type)
Compatibility is limited, but less resource intensive than Virtual Machine because it doesn't run full windows os.
