Vista upgrade or OEM

I am thinking of changing my XP bootcamp to Vista. (I am bored) Should I buy a upgrade from my XP or will a OEM verson work better. I do want to do a cleam install and wipe my XP. Does boot cam let my use a upgrade. I want to go with vista because I am not happy with the performance of flight simulator X.

OEM work fine no issues at all.
