i put vista on my imac...works great...my daughter wants xp on her macbook...checked reqirements of bootcamp intel processor and stuff all good...is bootcamp on her osx disk 1?...it came with leoperd on my imac...i cant seem to download it anywhere...only the 2.1 update...which states you need the previous version or beta...any help would be appreciated as she needs xp for some word processing software for her college courses....and does xp work good on a macbook 13"...all the posts i have read have been macbook pros or i macs...thanx

If she has Tiger, she can't get it. (Well...)

If she has Leopard, it's in Applications, Utilities.

she has mac os x version 10.4.11

She needs the Boot Camp Beta, which you need to Google for.

Install it and have her set her clock back before December 31, 2007 and partition for Windows. Before installing, set the clock back to the right date.

I know; Apple doesn't offer it anymore, which is why I said to Google it. You need to find one of the few third-party sources that still hosts the Beta for Tiger users.

you can use other virtualization software.

i use virtual box on my macbook for xp and ubuntu.
does her macbook use an intel processor?
