I am very interested in learning how to program for the iPhone. Does anyone know if there is a place in or near New York to take classes on how to program? Or a really good Book / Online tutorial? Let's put it this way... I know nothing about programming!

Big Nerd Ranch is advertising iPhone classes:
iPhone Bootcamp (http://www.bignerdranch.com/classes/iphone.shtml)

Apple arranged some Tech Talks (http://developer.apple.com/events/iphone/techtalks/), but they appear to be sold out mostly everywhere.

I recommend the Big Nerd Ranch ones, if you want to pay and see iPhone programming as an investment. However, I think these all assume you've gotten to grips with programming beforehand. A good place to start with programming if you've not touched it before is this book (http://www.amazon.com/Cocoa-Programming-Mac-OS-3rd/dp/0321503619) about Cocoa programming by Aaron Hillegass, who runs Big Nerd Ranch.
