i am a preacher and i do not have a lot of experience with sound software. i have used a demo of Sound Studio from Feltip but it hasnt been updated in a while and it cost 60, a little more than what i need it for. i have been recording my sermons and putting them on CD and passing them out. can anyone give me ANY comments or recommendations? i just a basic voice recording program to record and also be able to cut out dead space while im flipping pages and such. for $29 (im a student) i thought about trying ilife.
thanks

Try using Sound Recorder (http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/19528) . Get Quicktime Pro to edit the file and you're set. You can use Pro for other things, so basically you can think your setup is free.
If not, get a voice note recorder like QuickVoice (http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/15329). You still need an editor, though.
Hmm... you still could possibly use GarageBand. But you can't edit that well with it, though...
