Lightwave 3D

I have Panther and I have Lightwave. I just switched from PC about 5 months ago, and man do I like my mac. Everything runs smoothly and is stable except LW. It has so many Panther bugs and crashes all the time, whereas on the PC it was stable as a rock (an Oxymoron "Stable on the PC). Anyway, has anybody else experienced this? Is there a patch or the prospect of one coming out? I know 8 is coming out soon, but I don't know if I want to upgrade.

never used lightwave on a mac, but i did find the pc version to be a bit less than stable. maybe i'm just different.

Mine has never crashed (knock on wood) but if i move my project around it jumps a little. I got mine with a free upgrade to 8, can't wait. There is known upgrade I know of for Panther. 7.5 is the newest that I know of.
