Although my Video CDs played fine under Mac OS9 and quicktime 5.x (or some such version of QT) they have never played under QT 6.x under mac os X. I'm now using 6.5 pro.
They play fine using a time limited trial shareware player, but I'm reluctant to shell out for the player when I feel that it's unlikely that quicktime has lost this functionality and it used to perform better than the shareware. Am I missing something or can QT really no longer play MPEG1?
Thanks for any info on QT with VCDs or any freeware that might enable me to play them under OS X.
