Is there an alternative to downloading Windows Media Player 9 or RealOne if you want to view streaming audio or video offered by websites? After reading some great reasons (http://jogin.com/weblog/archives/000504/) to avoid Real and with my increasing avoidance of Microsoft products I'm looking for another alternative (open source if possible). Does something like this exist? I've searched numerous times on google, sourceforge, etc. to no avail.
