Quicktime 7.5.5 and Aspyr

Has anyone heard any news about a fix for us folks using OSX.4.11? I am having withdraw from playing The Sims 2. :mad:

As folks have posted in the Civ 3/4 crashing thread a lot of Aspyr games are crashing due to a bug in the way Aspyr and Quicktime 7.6 interact. Aspyr has asked me and other users to submit crash logs to them and Apple. Your crash log is in home/users/library/crashlogs. From the other thread Aspyr has said in response to people submitting bug reports is that Apple changed something in how Quicktime does something and Aspyre programs required quicktime to do it the old way or stop working. If I remember 7.6 has a lot of security fixes for quicktime probably a short cut aspyr used to make its games faster now gets caught in the new checks that quicktime does for the security fixes.

I am also having grand withdrawal pains. I usually get up at least an hour early each day to spend time with my SIMS families.
