In the iPhone Dev Center they link to a .pdf called "iPhone OS Pre-Install Advisory". I try downloading it or viewing it and it says Access Denied. I can view the other .pdfs on the page, I'm registered as a (non-paid) developer.
I've downloaded the SDK and the other .pdfs on the page, why can't I few this? I want to read it!

Only paid developers can access the iPhone OS 3.0 beta information.

I know. This isn't related to OS 3.0, this is on the 2.2.1 page.
http://developer.apple.com/iphone/index.action
Third .pdf on the page. Be sure "iPhone SDK 2.2.1" is selected in the menu bar.

Same with 2.2: Only paid developers can access the iPhone OS info.

Hmm, that's odd. I'm pulling it up just fine. Did you try it again? Maybe logout, clear the cache and try again?

I'm able to download all other .pdfs on the page, and I can download the SDK. You have full access to 2.2.1 for free, besides syncing test apps to your phone, putting them on the store, and the developer forum.

Still doesn't work, tried in another browser too. I've contacted Apple.

I have this same issue too ShadowXOR... I have a free Developer account and can download the 2.2.1 SDK and other even other PDF's, just not that specific one.
Please update the thread when you get some feedback from Apple.
