Help??? My machine (17" 1.33) is doing weird stuff. Every week or so my Safari is defaulting back to it original settings. I'm losing all my bookmarks. Same in my Mail, after I set it up the way I want it is doing the same thing..... Someone know what is going on. I can't put my finger on it. Thanks in advance.

how full is your drive? I'd say OSX needs 10% of your drive for swap space.

I would back up my drive and zero it out if I were you.

repair permissions?
when in doubt (and you have some weird random problem) repair permissions...

just in case:
Applications-->Utilities-->Disk Utility
select your hard drive. click "repair permissions"
