Hey you guys... I've got a problem with iChat Av. Whenever I try and launch iChat, the dock icon will bounce a couple times then stop without the program launching. I tried opening with the terminal command and this is what it said:

Last login: Mon Apr 12 13:12:29 on console
/Applications/iChat.app/Contents/MacOS/iChat; exitWelcome to Darwin!

[kron2-43-178:~] mark% /Applications/iChat.app/Contents/MacOS/iChat; exit
Broken pipe
logout
[Process completed]

I have a feeling the "broken pipe" is the problem and I was wondering if anyone knows what it means.

Also, if it isn't fixable, can I reinstall just iChatAV off of my Panther discs?

Thanks for the help!
Mark

just delete it and reinstall from the disk using pacifist (http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/12743) to extract the .pkg file from the disk. i believe it is on disk 2.

just an afterthought, it might be worthwhile to check your permissions and to maybe scrap the preferences in your home/library/preferences ...
