guys, I'm still struggeling with my VPN-networking problem (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=63044), but I have finally found a Mac-workaround:

I tried to set up an oldskool Performa/Powermac 5400 (http://www.lowendmac.com/ppc/5400.shtml) in order to figure out wether I could access my university's VPN-network via Os9... guess what, I downloaded NTS Tunnelbuilder (http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macos/3198) and I can finally access the web without my crappy PeeCee... (I think the software was discontinued, but the trial version works just fine...)

- o.k., now comes the tricky part:
How do I share the internet connection from the PPC 5400 (running Os9 and Tunnelbuilder) to my tiBook (running OsX 10.3.3)???

can someone help me with this problem? thanks

vSpackenIf you have an Ethernet port--and it appears that you do--get a router.

I have a router hooked up to my dsl modem, but I have to access the universitiy's VPN through the PC OR the PPC 5400...

...so I have to use internet sharing
