Mail.app keeps re-downloading all my mail

For the past few days, the Mail.app activity window says "Incoming Messages..." and it says downloading 328 out of 3958. It eventually does finish, but the next day, it goes through the same thing. Anyone else experiencing this? Is the MobileMe mail server acting funky?

I get this same exact problem. No idea why it is happening...

It didn't happen today. Probably was just some server maintenance that reset something..?

I've been having this same problem on and off for the past few weeks.....

Same here. I keep my inbox empty and only have 3 messages stored in the archive folder and wondered why MobileMe stated I was using 76MB of storage at the me.com account settings section. The other day Mail.app said incoming messages 1 of XXXX and worried that I was going to be flooded with spam but nothing happened. It seems to have corrected the storage statistic though and it now says I am using only 2MB :D

MobileMe is having, randomly, the same accidents with contacts in Address Book app and events in iCal.
I have the feeling MobileMe is going under.
