Edirol UA-1D and Garage Band

I get the 'not 44.1' in my GB when trying to use my UA-1D. I've tried going to the Audio Midi setup and verifying/changing/re-changing to 44.1 to no avail. The System Preferences can select it, and I can see my signal coming from my DAT, but I can't get GB to listen to it?


Anyone, Anyone?

I' using the simple UM-1S and I am getting a signal simultaneously via midi and usb, composite sounds...
There is a free program called synth test which should help you
