mid 90's mac game

hey ive been searching for a game i used to play as a kid on my parents old mac. it was around 1996. its a puzzle game where you are inside an old mansion traveling room to room solving scary and sometimes bloody puzzles. the one i remember most is in the dinning room. there is a bloody cake on the table and you must reorganize the pieces to complete the picture of an eye. when you do the cake gets cut revealing a new clue. if anyone has any idea what the game might be called id really appreciate it!
