iChat time out

Hi all, just got a new iSight and pb, but it won't let me use it. Whenever I invite the person, it either says they didn't reply, or there was a network timeout, we can't get it to work. We both have the most updated versions and a broadband connection. Any ideas?

Sounds like a firewall issue...

Are either of you on a college campus?

It's some problem in the data connection, not hardware, but must have more info before a solution can be devised.

Neither one of us are on a college campus. Neither one of us are behind a firewall. If it helps any, with my roommate who uses AIM 5.5 on his windows machine, there is no phone or video option for him, the invite to those is dimmed so I can't select it
