Help, iTunes won't start!

Hi, I have a problem where everytime I upgrade itunes from version 4 (the one on the panther cd) it won't start, and I am forced to downgrade.

It simply shows a red exclamation mark, with no text showing what the error is. I've tried moving my music library out of the folder, still no luck.

Does anyone have any idea what is wrong?

Wow, I can't believe that this thread lasted so long with no responses!

Anyway, try deleting ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.iTunes.plist and com.apple.iTunes.eq.plist and see what happens.
