Well, then how come on UK sales at the lowest price point of 59p, do I only get paid 36p, or 61%?:mad::eek:
70% would be 42p royalty per sale.
Apple is cheating us here!!!

The difference looks to be about 15%, which is the current VAT rate for the UK.

Oh dear. Does that mean that US customers actually pay more than 99 cents per app, to cover sales tax?
I suppose it makes sense, so the actual price my app is being sold at is 51p but VAT makes it up to 59p.
The funny thing is that, coupled with Apple's US-UK exchange rate (which is far from accurate at the moment, although I won't complain because it'll save me a lot of money on my next Apple purchase ;) ), I make nearly twice as much money on each app sold on the US store compared with its counterpart in the UK store. But from a customer perspective, the app store in the UK (for once) is considerably cheaper than its US cousin.

Just speculation, hopefully someone else can weigh in. Only relevant thread I can find is this one, which you've obviously seen already!
