I really should have read the part on the thread title that said the FAll purchase lol. so ill have to re do my list then being as i put down the games im after for this year. But i saw heavy rain on play.com saying it was out end of the year but it looks like a such a good game.

I might pick up that (okay, definitely) DDR game coming to 360 and PS3. We have 2 mats for the PS1 and that was fun back in the day, and had another mess around on some in the arcades a month back.
Might get Red Steel 2 as well, maybe The Conduit too but I'm not too keen on FPS games on any console.

It's coming finally...Fallout 3 DLC and Demon's Souls should satisfy my Action RPG hunger for a while but the more I look at Dragon Age the more I want it...I might have to add it to my list.

Bleh. Nothing really this year, unless L4D2 is enough of an upgrade

Wii has very little of interest too, though I may pick up the new Galaxy game if it is out this year.

Hardware wise, I'll add a PSPgo to the mix, replacing my ageing PSP1000 with a dodgy failing D Pad and lack of memory. Won't be bothering with Motion Plus either.

Why? If the titles are equal in quality, I would take the PS3 version for free online play and a quieter system. Not everyone oozes over their e-penis.

^ likewise 'IF' they are the same quality, then I tend to buy on PS3 because I have two of them, (in different rooms) and only one 360 now.

However quite often the multiformat games still tend to be better on the 360, and there has been a number of occasions where I've bought the PS3 version only to find it sub-par and will take it back and get the 360 version.

If your paying good money for a game, I want the best version - regardless of what format its on (except PC because I just can't game at my desk)....

The 360 is not the defacto system, I usually buy all of my games on the PS3 because its more reliable and I'm comfortable with the controller....not to mention FREE online.

Some games are clearly better looking on the 360 and theres some looking better on the PS3...I haven't really notice a huge difference in the titles to ruin my gaming experience so I rather just get it on my console of choice...which is the PS3.

I'd rather have the 360 version. I don't know if it's Microsoft moneyhatting or whatever but the games generally look better, the DLC is out first (or at all) and most of my friends have a PC... But a few have 360's ;).
Also prefer the simplicity of Achievements over Trophies.
... And prefer the 360 controller.

(though I'm surprised Microsoft don't charge you per boot up for a game, and the NXE is fugly along with them happy-go-smiley avatars, and why can't I set which NXE bar to load up onto, and why can't I disable all the adverts and junk for things that I'm never going to buy?)

I have both, and generally buy the 360 version too - largely for the achievements and the graphics are generally better. Otherwise I'd prefer the PS3 version - far quieter and more reliable.

Looks like many of us will have an extra $60 this November to spend on something else.

Originally slated to release November 3, BioShock 2 has been pushed back to a nondescript "fiscal 2010." The reasoning? To provide additional development time.

P.S: I'm very happy a lot of games fell back because money is tight this season but theres still a handful of games I must get my hands on so still jammed packed for me.
