iCal Alarm in startup

iCal Alarm gets added to the startup program list every time i log out and log back in... i don't use iCal, so i'd like to not have this added to the startup.

any tips?

Open iCal, go iCal->Preferences..., and tick the bottom checkbox ("Turn off alarms when iCal is not open"). Quit iCal, and it should remove itself.

dang it, i even looked there too. didn't register with me what that sentence was saying. felt weird to be checking "on" something to turn "off" something, you know..?
