Speed Download

Ok guy I tried speed download but I dont want to buy it so I deleted it. Yet everytime I try and download something I get a .gz ending and will not open even though I change it to dmg. How can I get rid of this so I can just use the safari download manager.

How did you uninstall it? Did you use the uninstaller that came with Speed Download? It's important to make sure that you deleted all of the componets. Yazsoft has some instructions here (http://www.yazsoft.com/howto/unistall.html) on how to remove it properly.
